Main Points: Christ Conquered Death Knowing that Christ conquered Death, frees us to live and love knowing that no matter what, life goes on. This gives us hope and peace in every situation.

Main Points: This is not a story of Cheap Grace When Jesus encountered people their lives were radically changed. You can have that change in your life

Theme: Communion Main Points This is a table of remembrance: This is a table of reconciliation. This is a table for receiving

Main Points: The tempter hits us where we are most vulnerable. First way Jesus teaches us to deal with temptation: Know the Scripture. Second way Jesus teaches us to deal with temptation: Stay close to Christian Friends. Third way Jesus teaches us to deal with temptation: Stay away from compromising situations.

Theme: Dealing with Anger Main Points: Anger is destructive to others and to ourselves There are times when people should express their anger. Anger needs to be resolved quickly. Unresolved anger is a spiritual problem.

Theme: Dedication of Jesus Main Points: Mary and Joseph observed the Jewish law. Mary and Joseph were poor. Mary and Joseph gave Jesus the gifts of love and faith.

Some think it is foolish to believe God can do anything through the church The church needs to change focus from ourselves to the world. All of us have a part in fulfilling God’s plan.

Theme: Andrew and Peter Scripture: John 1:29-42 Main Points: Andrew was in the shadow of his brother Peter Andrew was not one of the prominent Disciples Andrew had only one gift that we know of: He introduced people to Jesus.

Title: I am a Beloved, Precious Child of God Theme: Baptism of Jesus Scripture: Matthew 3:13-17 Main Points: In Baptism we are made clean before God. In Baptism we are given a new identity.

Theme: Change for the better Main Points: God loves doing a new thing. God loves giving people a new name. God’s new name for us means a new beginning.

Theme: Jesus was a refugee Main Points: This story is a call to compassion This story is a word of comfort This story is a reminder of the cost of salvation.

Theme: Hope Scripture: Isaiah 11:1-10 Main Points: Hope is based on our faith in God. Nothing is sadder than when hope dies. Hope is what Christmas is all about
