Six people have been arrested after Gardaí were attacked with fireworks and a van was set on fire during scenes of ‘sustained violence and thuggery’ at Citywest hotel last night. Henry McKean spoke with rioters and protestors at the area as the gardai started to clear protesters and regain control. Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy is set to enter prison for criminal conspiracy over Libyan funding.
