ERCOT warns rising temperatures next week may cause a power emergency due to residents cranking up the AC. To address this emergency, ERCOT will cancel and delay planned generator outages from Tuesday to Thursday to support the grid, according to the Dallas Morning News. The same day, Rashee Rice, wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, turned himself in to the police due to his multiple felonies. These include possession of marijuana, and a hit and run car crash in March 2024. Former professional football player and convict, OJ Simpson, passed away today at 76. While having a successful career as a running back, and even an actor, he also the headline of a long trial, in which he was investigated for the murder of his ex wife, Nicole Brown, in 1994.
