The history of this musical project started in 2003.
Dmitry Caljkusic is a composer and a multi-instrumentalist, as well as a founder of the music project.
The main idea for him has always been and remains music and music again.
Due to working in other groups the author had no enough time for his own project.
All his musical pieces are of various natures and not limited with any one style.
In spite of all previous and existing problems works on the project have been done and not been stopped up to now.
Uninterrupted experiments and pursuits of sounding for every album introduce their defining characteristics into all the compositions in Dmitry Caljkusics albums.
In all these years of making music there was no album sounding like the previous one; this is of great importance for the author.
There is an idea on authors mind to assemble a complete band for gigs and collaborative work, but it is nothing else than a dream as yet. At the present day you can listen to the project only in recorded form.
Dmitry Caljkusic in profile
Dmitry Caljkusic comes from the Russian Federation, he was born in Saint Petersburg, and now he lives there.
From a young age Dmitry has given his heart to music, which has resulted in the study of music and selection of it for the core activity.
The main instruments are drums, and also: guitar, bass guitar, keys, percussions, and a range of ethno instruments.
Dmitry worked in various musical teams as a musician playing drums and sometimes bass guitar.
Also, he was one of founders of his own team where he was a vocalist and song writer.
Now he is a producer, composer and director of his musical project on which he has been working for 14 years.
First tracks were recorded in 2003, and they became a starting point for Dmitry Caljkusic musical project referred to also as Free Time. The first album was completed in 2004 under the name Free Time. In 2005-2007 some tracks were recorded; one of them was later included in the album released in 2008.
This track is called Land of Nation. The next album was recorded only in 2011.
Recording places have changed their location three times, some records were lost, as well as a small album recorded in 2009 or 2010 midyear. All albums were recorded in the own studio with use of various instruments and computer technologies.
The main goal of the project is always a concept not to stick to one music style. Before 2011 music instruments were not used for recording; after 2011 the use of music instruments became an integral part of the project together with a dawning individual style and electronic sound.
