Wisdom Teachings - Sat Yoga, Costa Rica

Recorded on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2009. Shunyamurti reminds us that this is a time to give thanks to the community, to Nature, and to the Source from which all thanks springs. In these trying times, there are shortages of every kind (but especially love), that we must fill with the infinite abundance that is cultivated when we gather together in Truth, so we can manifest a harmonious world of gratitude and beatitude.

Prepare to reach the deathless state! In this time of sudden death, it is of extreme importance to recognize the immortality of consciousness—before the body dies—so we can transcend the plane of mortality and be reborn as immortal, deathless Spirit. This is the secret of immortality that Shunyamurti reveals in this teaching, a precursor to our next 5-day retreat, Amrita Shakti: The Potent Path of Pure Delight. In this retreat, you will gain the capacity to free yourself from fear and ignorance, and enjoy the bliss of divine love and Liberation.

Shunyamurti presents the seriousness of the situation: Reality is a high stakes game, and if we want victory over the dark side, it's all or nothing! We must unravel our patterns of self-destruction, recognize the dead end of the ego, and surrender to the light, so we can awaken the wisdom and strength to overcome suffering--destiny is in the hands of the awakened. This teaching was recorded on the morning of March 28, 2017 at the Sat Yoga Ashram, Costa Rica.

Shunyamurti outlines the fall of legitimate authority and the rise of a nihilistic mentality that has taken over the world with the false doctrine of materialism; in order to be free of the bondage of illegitimate authority, we must remember that we are active participants in this great creation, and we must create a new world order based on higher consciousness and, love, truth and freedom.

Shunyamurti shares from Nisargadatta's last book of teachings, "Consciousness and the Absolute''. A self-realized being sees the world and all that arises as unreal; one must find out what is real by proving the unreality of the ego, by detaching from the ego's role and letting go into Liberation--this is especially important at the end of Kali Yuga, where the opportunity to be free to be the Self or to be reborn into a body-mind being is of supreme importance. 

Shunyamurti reveals that the real knot to resolve is an ego that has been betrayed by a loveless world and  must now take the risk of ego death to find the secret of spiritual power and enter the portal to freedom!

In this deeply reflective teaching, Shunyamurti reveals that the spiritual path is one of remorse and humility, which brings peace and purity--and the capacity to silence the mind.

Shunyamurti draws a map of realization, bringing together the Jewish Day of Atonement, the attunement of the soul, and at-one-ment with the Self, as a step by step guide in the trajectory of Realization, reminding us that wisdom and devotion are the keys to Liberation.
