In this week's episode, it's the Z2 gangs last time recording in Zach's apartment as they are all moving into a house together! Aside from that, we kick things off with talking about the Overwatch Anniversary event and Zach's ranked dreams of hitting diamond being dead this season. Then we talk about the potential of a new Runaways comic series, since characters from the old line up have been teased with new designs by Marvel's twitter. It has potential, but could it be another failed attempt at rebooting a series from Marvel. After that, we discuss how the New Mutants movie will be going the full horror movie route, which we think is the right movie, as superhero movies like Deadpool and Logan have been successful by taking another genre and applying it to superhero characters. There was the news of Zack Synder stepping down from directing Justice League to deal with a family tragedy, which is just awful to hear happen to him and we wish him the best. Finally, our discussion this week revolves around DC Rebi

In this week's episode, Jim joins us once again to talk about Injustice 2! We breakdown first impressions of the game, how it compares to Injustice 1, and how does the story stack up, after both Steve and Jim have beaten at least one of the story lines. From there, we move into some new announcements starting off with The Witcher novels being adapted by Netflix. Zach is super excited about it because of the potential it has but there are a ton of questions we raise as to what they need to do to make the series right. After some MCU news, we have gotten some first impressions of the Wonder Woman movie, and so far everything has been great from a now spoiler view point from critics who have seen the movie so far, which has us all super hyped that the DCCU seems to have an excellent movie under its belt. As always, if you want to help out the show, there are a couple ways you can do that. In this week's episode, we bring fan and friend of the show Jim to talk about the Hellboy reboot in the works, the New Mutants tv series at Fox, and a Deadpool animated series at Fox by Donald Glover. In exciting comics news, Tom King and DC announced this past week that he willing writing a 12 issue Mister Miracle series starting this summer with artist Mitch Gerads. The story Tom King has planned sounds super exciting and he claims that it will have affects on the entire DCU, probably involving the new gods. Along with that announcement, we got news of Kyle Higgens' new DC series, Nightwing: The New Order, which is an elseworld story about Nightwing taking down super powered heroes. Sounds a lot like Secret Empire, but it has been explained by Higgens that the story will focus on the mistakes Nightwing has made, and his self reflection in a world without super powers. To kick things off, we run down the news starting with the 4 new game of thrones spin off series to come after the main series ending. We talk about what series they could produce and what series we would like to see. We then discuss the new Defenders trailer and the first image of the Inhumans tv series, and then rounding out our the news we discuss the Eisner Nominees, The Button updates, and Secret Empire Updates. We break down what happened, what the messages were and what they meant, and how a lot of the fallout has occurred since this the messages were pointed out. This brought us to discuss all things related to the issue of not only the importance of diversity and representation but also the things that could actually be affecting Marvel's dipping sales numbers. In this week's episode, brings you discussions about the new Justice League trailer that shows off the team in action, including Aquaman riding the Batmobile. It looks excellent visually, so well have to see if it pans out later this year. We also got our first hints at the prelude to Scott Synder and Greg Capullo's Metal Batman, Dark Days which sounds super cool and its exciting to inch closer to the twos return to the main Batman continuity together. Then finally, after many episodes of torturing Zach about the Power Rangers movie, we finally discuss it as the Z2 gang went out and saw it this weekend. We give our thoughts about it from a non-fan perspective and huge fans perspective. Poor Zach though thought this would be the end, but it appears to be a new beginning of torturing Zach. In this week's episode, the Z2 gang gets ready for the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda despite the luke warm reception so far. We also have to educate Zach on how segway's are actually supposed to work as he seems to just move us from topic to topic. In news that happened this week though, there was official confirmation of the Venom movie which is coming in 2018 from Sony, and people are worried since the writers for Amazing Spider-Man 2 are attached to the film and peoples reception of that movie are not great. Iron Fist also dropped on Netflix and fans reception of that has been far better than the critics, as on Rotten Tomatoes viewer reviews are sitting at around 80% which isn't as bad as the critics made it seem. In this week's episode, we celebrate our 1 YEAR PODEVERSARY WITH GIFTS! Its crazy we've been doing this for a year already, and we thank all of you lovely listeners for the support you've given us over the year and we hope that you continue to listen to us into the next year! Aside from that we got a brand new Wonder Woman trailer and it looks excellent! If the movie doesn't turn out as well as the way these trailers look I think we may lose hope in DC movies, but we have faith this will be good. There was also the news of a new Darth Vader book coming from Charles Soule, which is essentially Darth Vader: Year One, which sounds pretty top. We also got official confirmation from Warner Bros and Ben Affleck that Matt Reeves will be the new director for The Batman solo movie, after we said last week we weren't going to talk about that movie again unless we got official news. Well here's the official news. We also got new Overwatch character teasers in which we may be actually teasing two characters that should be coming out this year.
