But Surf Live Saving Australia is issuing a stark warning, with new research highlighting the heightened risk of deaths in the water on public holidays. - Met het lange weekend voor de deur maken veel Australiërs plannen om naar de kust te gaan. Maar Surf Life Saving Australia waarschuwt voor een verhoogd risico op dodelijke slachtoffers tijdens feestdagen.

The world's largest sand island, located off the coast of Queensland, has officially been restored to its traditional name of K'gari. It comes after decades of campaigning from the Butchulla [[buht-cha-lah]] people to change it back from Fraser Island. - Het grootste zandeiland ter wereld, gelegen voor de kust van Queensland, heeft officieel zijn traditionele naam K'gari teruggekregen. Tientallen jaren is er campagne gevoerd door de Butchulla people om het terug te veranderen van Fraser Island.

The exhibition Rembrandt: True of Life is now on display at the National Gallery of Victoria. The more than 100 works, coming from the NVG's own collection and borrowed from, among others, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, provide a good overview of the different phases that the Dutch master went through. Petra Kayser is the curator of the NGV and explains whether it is easy to borrow works from other museums. - In de National Gallery of Victoria is nu de tentoonstelling Rembrandt: True of Life te zien. De meer dan 100 werken komen uit eigen collectie én zijn geleend van onder meer het Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam en geven een goed overzicht van de verschillende fases die de Hollandse meester doormaakte.
