Host Pamela Escobar is joined in-studio by members of Project Scientist- the Summer STEM Academy for girls. Ashley Hall is a Charlotte-based scientist, and her daughter Bennett attends the academy; and Missy Rossi explains how YOU can help support the next generation of STEM superstars.

It's not your typical non-profit.  Angie Rikard, MA CCC-SLP, Director of Speech Language Services at Charlotte Speech and Hearing Center joins Pamela Escobar in-studio to talk about the center, how they help identify and serve children with speech and hearing difficulties, and how what they do changes lives in and around Charlotte.

Laureen Jenkins, Project Outpour founder, visits Pamela Escobar in-studio and describes the day she met a homeless man, and found her calling -  to provide a mobile shower facility to help restore dignity and health to Charlotte's homeless population.
