NYSEA 55 – Guest co-host Scott Laigo, President of Student-Athletes advocate joins NYSEA this week. As we discuss the “Fair Pay to Play Act.” First California announced they would be allowing Student-Athletes the opportunity to earn money off their name, brand and likeness. We then hear that Senator Mitt Romney (R-Utah) warned the NCAA “ We’re coming for you.” Now this past Tuesday, the NCAA announces they are now on board, but not before a subcommittee takes 14 months to figure how this should all look like. We discuss and talk about all of these issues. As fans we love sports and this time of year we really enjoy College football. What games are we watching and why?
