The Athénée annual Koléisch's charity run takes place today. Students will be running around the Geeseknäppchen in Merl alongside Pedro De Sousa who will be running continuously for 24 hours whilst fundraising to support the NGO Athénée - Action Humanitaire. Anne Kayser from the school joined Tom over the phone this morning to tell us how people can support Pedro and the students. Mr. Pedro De Sousa will begin running at 10am on Thursday, 23rd March 2023 on the running tracks of Boulevard Pierre Dupong in Merl. Members of the public are welcome to show support, by joining Mr. De Sousa and the students of the Athénée in the 24 hours after he starts his quest. If you are not a runner, you can still help the children benefitting from the NGO Athénée – Action Humanitaire by sponsoring Mr. De Sousa, and the fellow Athénée students running alongside him, via our website shop.al.lu. All proceeds go to our educational, ecological and food related projects in South Africa, Cape Verde and Greece. More information
