Joe and Dane open the second hour of the show looking Golden Tate signing with the Giants, with Joe like the deal, saying he is not going to replace Odell Beckham, but he is a very underrated receiver, and a well-respected veteran that will help the rebuilding Giants; Dane’s issue with this signing is why Tate would not sign with a contender like the Patriots, and also not knowing what the plan is for the Giants. Joe’s biggest issue with the Giants is not understanding why the organization is not cutting ties with Eli Manning, but Dane thinks Eli will bring a mentoring ability to whoever the next QB in New York will be. Joe and Dane question if this situation could have been avoided for the Giants if they had just drafted Sam Darnold last season.
