Breaking All The Rules is a concept born from my very first series of mixtapes called "Fusion" - so named because the goal was to fuse music from multiple genres and present it in such a way that even people who aren't fond of a particular genre would enjoy the mix. The focus was primarily on dancehall and hip-hop, with the goal being to introduce authentic, hardcore dancehall to hip hop fans who would otherwise not hear it. The #BATR series takes it a step further and steps the creativity up a notch, pushing the envelope by touching even more genres and eras of music. As my own palate for music gets more diverse, so do my mixes.
