Empress Simone credits her parents for giving her the drive to pursue her dreams. A lifelong resident of the Bronx in New York City, Empress Simone devotes her time to family, education, and writing.  During childhood Empress Simone realized she loved to write and would pen plays, song lyrics, poems, and short stories.
