Jewel Amethyst Daniel, a scientist, an author who writes under the name Jewel Amethyst, and an educator, enjoys combining her love of science and writing to teach kids about exciting science concepts.  Her first full-length novel, A Marriage of Convenience was released August 2009 and her holiday romance story, From SKB with Love is part of an anthology of romance stories Holiday Brides was released in October 2009. In 2013 Jewel was recruited as one of the launch authors for Amazon Kindle worlds, publishing her novella, Indiscretion as part of the YA suspense Pretty Little Liars Kindle Worlds fantasy fiction. Jewel’s new romance novel, Hurricane of the Heart will be released in summer 2015. In 2014 Jewel themed up with her 11 year old daughter to publish the first in a series of children’s science adventure novels, Zapped! Danger in the Cell.
