February 2016 - The Black Issue [Explicit] For our second podcast, we thought long and hard about what to do. Making the usual Valentine's day inspired sexy mixtape just didn't seem right this time. Lately, it feels like race issues is biggest thing since 808 kick drums. Much has been discussed about #blacklivesmatter, #oscarssowhite, performances by Kendrick, Beyoncé; the presidential primaries... Being that February is Black History Month in the US, we thought it was the perfect time to join in the convo, the best way we know: through music. So we just put together some songs that came to mind, relating to the subject but without being too heady, something you can still work out to.
