Sinopsis

Psalm 100 is a unique psalm in that it is the only psalm among the 150 psalms that is specified to be a "Psalm for Giving Thanks" (vs.1). It's structure is laid out beautifully. In verses 1-2, we have three imperatives: "shout," "worship," and "come." Then in verse 4, we have three more imperatives: "enter," "give thanks," and "praise." Between these six imperatives, and we have another in verse 3 that links them all together, "know." The overall structure of the psalm is that we are to always be thankful for two primary reasons: 1. The LORD is God and as such, he is Creator (vs. 3). 2. The LORD is Good and as such, he is Redeemer (vs.5). When one knows the true God as Creator and Redeemer, and thus has become "his," and the "sheep of his pasture," having received his "enduring forever love and faithfulness," then such a one has every reason to be thankful.Watch on YouTube: https://youtube.com/li
