Hey Guys,Happy New Year and we are back now from vacation!!We just had the 100th anniversary of the 18th amendment of the United States Constitution (Prohibition) which was on January 17th, 1920.Our contest will be ending on January 31st with the winner being announced in February on our social media. It was created for our Canadian actress and producer Mary Pickford who worked in USA. She was also one of the founder of the Pickford-Fairbanks studio with Charlie Chaplin (which turned into United Artists Studios). It was later bought out by MGM studios. She was also one of the founders of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science which presents the Oscar Awards out every year.So the drink was created in Cuba for her by Eddie Woelke or Fred Kaufmann at the National Hotel of Cuba.
