Idol #33 - Lord we repent for our country AND CHURCH to lean upon alcohol for comfort. We repent for putting alcohol in ANY FORM above you. We have made an idol out of this. When we make excuses to drink as ministers and reason our way into enjoying dabbling with alcohol, we are making this an idol. The question becomes, "Do we HAVE TO HAVE IT?" If the answer is NO, then why is it so hard to lay it down and not do it? It's because it has become an idol to us. We repent for this either consciously or subconsciously making this a priority in our lives.  Help us Lord to not be a stumbling block to other people. Help us as Christians to live a life above reproach and not touch the unclean thing. We know that you HATE LUKEWARM AND COMPROMISE. Forgive us for being lukewarm. Help us Lord to say NO to all things like this (substances) that alter our minds and cause death, suffering, suicide, adultery, lying, stealing, hatred, malice, wrath and many other sins. This is a gateway to the devil and we must SHUT ALL DO
