Guest Norma Ward, CEO and Co-Founder of Progressive Transitions. Ms. Ward shares about how they have been able to impact women over the age of 18 that have the trauma of domestic violence or human trafficking to transition to life as not just as surviving but to ones that are thriving.       Progressive Transitions as part of a collaboration with the Alameda County Office of the Public Defender developed a diversion program designed to assist clients facing prostitution and/or loitering charges to avoid incarceration or other court imposed punishments. This program provides services to disenfranchised women age 18 and older who are either facing convictions or are eligible to have their convictions overturned.
