This week’s show featured Heartland Family Service chief development officer Theresa Cassady promoting their gala fundraiser to further their multifaceted mission of assisting those in need of mental health, housing support, trafficking and other services. Then, Outlook Enrichment executive director Nina Rongisch discussed the work they to do assist the blind and visually impaired.  Finally, author Jamie Holmes talked about the history of partnership that existed between Native Americans and formerly enslaved black families.
