I met Dan on the side of the road in October of 2017 just south of Prince George BC, Canada. He had just finished riding his bicycle solo from Argentina to Alaska over three years time and was hitchhiking back to Vancouver to fly home to the UK and see his family. Dan went vegetarian during the first few weeks of his bike tour and still lives a plant-based lifestyle today.
