Proverbs 11:10 - When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices; when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy. Jesus desires above all things that the righteous prosper, and be in health even as our souls prosper in Him. Prosperity is the the same as the Hebrew word "Shalom" which is peace, end of strife, quietness, rest, happiness, victory, safety, restoration, wholeness, completeness in mind, body and estate. Prosperity goes far beyond material possessions. Jesus is our Shalom. Acts 10:38 says that He went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Jesus is also working with us to advance His Kingdom in the earth, and confirming His Word with signs following. When you know who you are, and your Righteousness in Christ you can also do good, relieve oppression, defeat oppressors and establish Jesus peace and advance His Kingdom.
