Bert Martinez (@thebertmartinez), host of the Money for Lunch Podcast was raised in a family that fled communist Cuba, settled in Houston, Texas, and starting the first Spanish newspaper the area. Bert got his start in sales and marketing through the family business. As he points out, his father did not have much appreciation for anything that wasn't the result of hard work. Bert used public speaking as a tool to overcome a stutter he developed learning English. His career carry him through the ranks of H-town's CBS affiliate.
