In our day, different churches function and are governed in various ways... However, the Bible gives us direction on how churches should be led. And that direction is set for us by none other than the apostolic gift of the church Paul himself, as he directs a faithful delegate to further establish local churches by appointing leaders -elders-pastors- in various local churches on the island of Crete.
