DR. CRAIG BURNETTE Dr. Burnette served in the US Army as an infantry platoon leader, mechanized, company commander, and military adviser. His duty stations included Ft. Bragg, Ft. Knox, Ft. Jackson, the Panama Canal Zone and Viet Nam. His military decorations include the Combat Infantry Badge, the Bronze Star, the Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, the Vietnam Campaign Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal and the National Defense Ribbon. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Wofford College, Spartanburg, SC, as well as being commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant through the Army R.O.T.C. program there. He received his Master’s in Counseling from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, and his Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville During a 28-year career with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Dr. Burnette was responsible for the overall planning, development and implementation of Project CHALENG (Community Homelessne
