The Warm-up. The most underappreciated, taken-for-granted part of the workout that is often given as much thought as which plain-white towel you’re going to wipe your sweat with. The warm-up though, which you learn as you age, is truly the first brick to be laid down for this proverbial wall we are calling a workout. The base of anything can make or break a day, and the older I get, the more necessary a proper warm-up has become.
