We know that in this life we will have troubles as Christians we are not immune to the struggles of life, in fact, the bible warns us to expect troubles. We will face sickness, opposition, fear, exhaustion, temptation and much more but the Psalmists teach us that even in the midst of trials we should praise and thank God for His faithfulness, His love, His provision. Even during lockdown we have much to be thankful for; we have seen an increase in church giving meaning that we have been able to continue the work of the kingdom, we have seen such generosity of provision of food & meals to help the vulnerable and we have seen a renewed boldness in sharing the gospel and a deepening of relationships in our church family.
