"I was born in Pretoria and schooled at Pretoria Boy’s High and Pretoria University, later also at Unisa. I developed and early interest in music which took me to England for 14 years during which time I was saved. I returned to the RSA in 1987 and settled in Cape Town. I am married to Dilys and have four children and eight grandchildren. I am a member of the Pinelands Baptist church, and I lead a weekly cell group and serve at the mission in Brooklyn started by Albert Wassenaar. I have my own business selling and supporting software applications in the printing industry. My interests besides music include books, bikes, boats and braaivleis." !
