Becoming With Ann Fancy

There have been many conversations in the world of religion, spirituality, philosophy and psychology around the notion of the ego. I recently saw a post on social media that said "The Ego is Evil"... and while I understand how and why we might jump to that conclusion, the ego often gets a bad wrap. The ego is necessary in this human experience, otherwise embodiment would not be feasible. So, the question becomes how much do we give in to the whims of the ego and are we able to access the wisdom and inherent worthiness found in the soul?
