When we think of joy, we think of something that is up to us to find. Everyone is searching for joy. We look for it in possessions, money, relationships and our reputation, just to name a few. But joy in those things fades. Even after Christmas is all over, when the food is no more, when the gifts become a couple weeks old and when all the world is back to the routine of life, where will we find our joy? The good news of the Christmas season is that our joy no longer has to be self produced, but rather our lasting, unspeakable joy is found in the person and work of Jesus Christ! He is the greatest gift we could ever receive.
