Nigel Slater is a food writer, journalist and broadcaster. He’s written many cook books over the years and also his memoir “Toast, the Story of a Boy's Hunger” Toast is the story of Nigel`s childhood and adolescence told through food. It’s been adapted into a radio drama, a BBC Film and now it’s been turned into a play. In this episode of Fodder Matt and Nigel discuss the play and the powerful role food plays in human memory.
