Off Script With Trish Glose

Trish Glose gets a front row seat to Jeff Matschke's story. Currently a Medford firefighter, this Army veteran had two deployments overseas and was blown up in Iraq during the second deployment. He talks about that day his team drove over an IED, and the road to recovery that came after. It included walking with a cane and working to repair brain trauma. While he says he didn't realize he was experiencing post traumatic stress at the time, he understands it in a different way now. His story is one of bravery, resiliency, courage, and keeping up the fight.
