This week Rebecca takes a break while Kat interviews Katie Berger, who is a professional actress and playwright based in St. Petersburg, Florida. She is originally from Kentucky and majored in musical theatre in college. She has been fortunate to be working consistently in theatre since graduation, but in her late teens and early twenties, she suffered from the crippling disorder known as anorexia nervosa. After living with the disorder for several years, she realized how detrimental it was to her health, her career, and her art. Through sheer force of will (and an amazing treatment team) she beat anorexia and lived to tell the tale, which she now tells through her original musical "Full".
