Omaha musician and local legend Dereck Higgins joins me on the show to talk about his colorful musical upbringing. He's played virtually all styles of music and has been a pioneer in the Omaha music scene. From Jazz to punk, Dereck has played it all and experienced what it's like to be the only black man in a rock and roll band in the Midwest.
