Writer Experience

Julio Anta is a writer based in New York City. Raised in Miami, in a Cuban and Colombian family, Julio strives to tell narratively rich stories about diverse and empowered Latinx characters for Adult, Young Adult, and Middle Grade readers. His debut comic book series, HOME, is out now, courtesy of Image Comics. Julio’s forthcoming work includes FRONTERA, a YA graphic novel from HarperAlley, and SI SE PUEDE, a non-fiction graphic novel from Ten Speed Press, releasing in Summer 2023 and Fall 2023 respectively.
