"It's My Life" is a mix of Jackin' House and Vocal House music that I chose to celebrate my birthday! As we are coming out of a dark time in our history I wanted to give you some reworks of classics, some 'jackin' house' - which is a category of dance music that uses partial tracks from days gone by and updates the production values to give you a taste of some of our old favorites. Included in this is a mashup I created years ago to celebrate my birthday at the legendary SPLASHBAR nightclub in NYC where I took an existing track and layer vocals from 3 of my BFFs to create an exciting tribute to birthdays!
