Having spent a life learning to sail, Behan Gifford lives on a 47 foot sailboat with her husband Jamie and 3 kids, since 2008 when they left their home on Bainbridge Island, one of the 2 residential islands off Seattle. Currently, the Gifford family is cruising Southeast Asia after enjoying Mexico, the South Pacific, Australia, and Papua New Guinea. If it’s not already apparent, the Giffords home-school on the boat, while also giving their kids the greatest education there is: travel.
