Has God ever told you to do something and you disobeyed, from fear, insecurity, pride, or another reason? Jonah did this when God told him to go to the wicked city of Nineveh and preach to them to repent of their sins. Instead of obeying, Jonah ran away from God's presence to board a ship going to Tarshish, and went down to the lowest part of the ship. God sent a great wind on the sea, and there was a tempest, and the ship was about to be broken up due to Jonah's disobedience, risking the lives of the mariners on board.
