In consultations across the nation, Australians spoke of the need to have deeper engagement with the region. Authors, Professors Caitlin Byrne and Andrew O'Neil (Griffith University) explain those findings before discussing with Dr Tess Newton-Cain (Project Lead for the Pacific Hub at the Griffith Asia Institute) what this might actually look like.
