    It's a slightly different weekend show today as Shaun Preece joins Steven to discuss an issue that has been bothering Steven for a while: talking down the white cane while talking up guide dogs. Steven believes that both options are suitable for the individual who chooses them and it shouldn't ever be seen as lesser than the other situation. Steven has had occasions where people have told him that not having a guide dog tells them that he is not really blind and he wanted to talk about that today following his recent comments on the subject on Twitter. During that Twitter discussion, he came into contact with a mother of a blind son who has been learning how to use both mobility aids as part of his orientation and mobility lessons. Steven invited Dawn Pickering on to the show this week to hear that story and was amazed at the conversation that followed - and he hopes you enjoy it too.
