Five years ago, Melbourne resident Prerna Malla embarked on a motorcycle journey to Upper Mustang, which, in her view, is a response to male dominance in Nepal. Her father, Prem Malla, stood by her on a dirt bike ride to Upper Mustang as she had been excluded from the trip by a group of contemporary male relatives. The same father-daughter duo, Prerna and Prem Malla spoke to SBS Nepali and recounted the challenges and cherished memories of their journey to Upper Mustang. - मेलबर्नकी बासिन्दा प्रेरणा मल्लले करिब पाँच वर्ष अगाडी आफूले अपर मुस्ताङको यात्रा मोटरसाइकलमा तय गर्नुलाई नेपालमा रहेको पुरुष सत्तालाई दिएको जवाफका रूपमा हेरेकी छिन्। उनलाई महिला भएकै कारण समकालीन पुरुष आफन्तहरूको समूहबाट उक्त यात्रामा जान रोकेको कुराले केही तितो अनुभव दिएको थियो। तर उनका बुबा प्रेम मल्लले छोरीको यात्रामा साथ दिन सन् २०१९ मा अपर मुस्ताङ यात्रामा डर्ट बाइकका साथ निस्किएको अनुभव सुनाएका छन्। उनै बुबा-छोरीको जोडी प्रेरणा र प्रेम मल्लले एसबीएस नेपालीसँग अपर मुस्ताङ जाँदाका अप्ठ्यारा र उक्त यात्राको सम्झना बाँडेका छन्।
