Sinopsis
An account of an Royal Air Force man's long journey to get to Maralinga, South Australia, and his experiences as a participant in the British Atomic Weapons Tests held there in the South Australian desert during 1956. The author was born in 1934 in Privett, Hampshire. Joined the RAF in 1951 on an eight year engagement training as an Armourer. After leaving the RAF spent several years in Insurance and Estate Agency before reverting to engineering and travelling around the world in Oil production. On retirement, emigrated to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Living in Canada in the summer, and Arizona, USA, in the winter (Snowbirding). Returned to live in UK after 10years. Spends free time writing memoirs etc
