Coming to you weekly, Brett, Elana and Ken look at comic book news with a political bent. It's a new week of comics and DC has released it's third wave of new releases.  We're three-fourths of the way through the new 52 and we'll look at what stands out this week as far as comics, both good and bad. We've also been pretty focused on DC, but there's a lot more coming out, so we're having a round table talking about Marvel's Fear Itself and Schism and other comics that stand out to us. So join us Sunday night and call in with your thoughts.

We're now weekly!  Things are picking up and there's lots to cover so Brett, Elana and Ken will be coming to you each Sunday night.  On this week's show: 1) It's the second week of DC's reboot/relaunch/revamp and that means a whole new batch of number 1 issues to go over.  What's worth your money?  Find out here. 2) It seems if you're a part of the DCnU you're young, skinny and a sexy vixen if you're a woman.  We're talking changes made to some established characters and the depiction of women in comic books. The entire team is back!  Brett, Elana and Ken discuss the latest comic book news.  Scheduled to be discussed this week: 1) DCnU - The first batch of books of DC comics big reboot/revamp.relaunch have been released.  What stood out?  What's already headed for cancellation? Find out our opinions here. 2) Presidential candidate Rick Perry said if he could be any super hero it'd be Superman.  We talk about that mismatch and what other super heroes and villains this batch of candidates remind us of. With Elana off in Russia on a covert mission for the Black Widow, the boys Brett and Ken are left to their own devices.  God help us all. This week it's an all horror show.  We'll be discussing zombie comics and our general enjoyment of horror comics. So, join us as a hurricane decides to throw the East coast into chaos, and hopefully we keep power through the entire show.  Who knows what chaos may ensue when the weather gets involved!
