Daniel receives a second vision and a heavenly visitor giving him further details about future events.

God's people should seek to please Him in their attitudes and actions.

After a career of interpreting the dreams of other people, God gives Daniel a vision of the future kingdoms of the world including Christ’s eternal kingdom.

Following God's wisdom leads to joy, while failing to do so leads to grief.

After the Babylonian Empire fell to the Medo-Persians in 539 B.C. It didn’t take long for Daniel to prove his worth and his courage to the new administration.

God promises to provide His wisdom to those who search for Him.

Daniel is still serving Jehovah God even though kings have come and gone.

God expects His people to show His wisdom through sexual purity.

In Daniel 4, God humbles the greatest king on earth and then restores him to power.  In the story of Nebuchadnezzar, we see God’s plan of redemption unfold.

All people have a choice to make: follow God or reject Him.

In Daniel, chapter 3, King Nebuchadnezzar erects a statue and commands everyone to bow down and worship the golden image. Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego stand firm in their convictions and refuse to bow down and are thrown into the furnace of blazing fire trusting God will deliver them. The sovereignty of God once again is revealed to king Nebuchadnezzar and all peoples in his kingdom.

Following God's wisdom is demonstrated in how a person treats others.

King Nebuchadnezzar calls on the wise men of Babylon to not only interpret a dream but to tell him what dream he had. Daniel calls on God to reveal the dream and its interpretation, so God would receive the glory.

God provides direction to those who place their trust in Him. Russ Adams looks at Proverbs 2 and 3 in this weeks session in Explore the Bible curriculum.

The final lesson in our Systematic Theology class is on eschatology. Eschatology is the study of last things. Pastor Keith will describe the two major division of eschatology and then give an overview of the most popular eschatological systems. Special guest via phone is Chad Ray, a former member of FBC Keller.

Daniel and his three friends are brought into the realm of King Nebuchadnezzar and stand firm in their convictions to remain faithful to God and His protection over them.
