This week, Pastor Keith begins a new series called What is the Gospel? Our pastors desire that every member of FBC Keller could clearly articulate the gospel message to a lost world that needs to hear about Jesus.

The early church exhibited signs of Spirit-empowerment. While we are not called to be clones of the early church (they had problems too), we are wise to replicate the affections and practices of this Spirit-filled church.

In I Corinthians 1:18-25, the Apostle Paul reveals three reactions to the message of the cross that are still prevalent in the world today.

In today’s text, the Apostle Peter explains the necessity of the cross in God’s eternal plan of redemption.

In Mark 8:27-38, Jesus gathers his inner circle of followers and clearly explains to them that he will soon suffer and die and be raised from the dead. Further, he calls them to deny themselves and follow after him for the rest of their lives.
