“Mystery at the Lighthouse” proves to be the most unique episode of the Pokemon Anime so far.  Episode 13 takes an interesting approach to applying mechanics from the video games to the adventures of Ash and crew.  In yet another hiccup in the journey to Vermillion city, we see a new side of Ash, along with some interesting storytelling, in an episode that just doesn’t seem to fit in the current story arc.  Melissa and Ken share their feedback on the episode, as well as make sense of the new stylings to the show’s structure.
