Prayer

Every Christian is called to Ministry, whether it includes a title or not. There is a calling from God that we must respond to. the call of God is exciting, humbling and sobering. The call of God is a life of respect for God, respect for His people, and a life of sacrifice. It doesn't include any sense of entitlement; we are living sacrifices to God and we love not our life unto death. This message reviews the calling of Moses and relates his experience to ours as believers.

Proverbs 11:10 - When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices; when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy. Jesus desires above all things that the righteous prosper, and be in health even as our souls prosper in Him. Prosperity is the the same as the Hebrew word "Shalom" which is peace, end of strife, quietness, rest, happiness, victory, safety, restoration, wholeness, completeness in mind, body and estate. Prosperity goes far beyond material possessions. Jesus is our Shalom. Acts 10:38 says that He went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Jesus is also working with us to advance His Kingdom in the earth, and confirming His Word with signs following. When you know who you are, and your Righteousness in Christ you can also do good, relieve oppression, defeat oppressors and establish Jesus peace and advance His Kingdom. We cannot allow ourselves to be discouraged or hard-hearted about the conditions in the World. Jesus has sent us out to preach the Good News of the Gospel to all the world. The Gospel of Jesus Christ IS THE Power of God unto salvation for all who believe. We have been given the answer that the World needs. Not only have we been commissioned to preach the Gospel, but the Lord as promised to work with us, and confirm the Word of the gospel with signs following. These signs include healing the sick, casting out devils, and authority over death. We must be bold in our faith in Jesus that He will confirm the Word ministered in faith. We are witnesses of His goodness and His saving grace. Our testimony provides evidence that He is alive. God desires that we stir ourselves in the confidence in Him, and faith to see people hungry for Him - a field ripe for harvesting.
