Turns out all this art was loaned to the Society by one of the biggest comic book art dealers, Mike Burkey. One look at Mike's website and you will be blown away by his collection. The private collection focused on John Romita Sr's incredible art but there were also gems by Steve Ditko, Gil Kane, Ross Andru and other well known artists. We brought honorary GAM Sam Mastandrea along and like proper comic geeks we had a great time checking out the art we know and love so well.
