We start by looking back at the second leg of the Portuguese Cup semi-final where JJ opted to rotate the squad, a convincing win against a good Estoril that despite being in Portugal's second tear, showed themselves at a good level through both legs. Next we look at the game against B-Sad, a first half to forget, a second half to remember, as the team showed signs of growth at both a playing and a confidence levels. Lastly we look ahead to Boavista at Luz when Benfica hopes to get revenge for the first round 3-0 loss a game that was the beginning of the season's derailment.

Covid has hit the team hard, but can Covid be an excuse for a Braga game which we could have won, and a Nacional game where we played for 15 minutes? We discuss both sides of the Covid coin, and try once again decipher what is going on with this team. In the second half, we look ahead to the Portuguese Cup quarter finals against B-Sad, and the Derby against Sporting at the Alvalade where a only a win is good enough. We discuss the scenario of a loss, and wonder if there is also a bad spell for Sporting, which could keep the league still within reach in the event of a loss.
