The New York Giants defeated the Carolina Panthers 21-19 in the team’s second preseason game. The first team offense surgically dissected the Carolina defense with a nine play drive that culminated in a Daniel Bellinger touchdown. Most importantly, there were no notable injuries. 

The New York Giants held their second day of training camp open to the public on Thursday afternoon and featured 7 on 7s, 11 on 11s, some 1 on 1s plus a whole lot of skill work. Oh yeah, and Andrew Thomas got PAID.

The running back market in the NFL took a massive blow this past week as New York Giant Saquon Barkley agreed to a modest incentive to break his training camp holdout, Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders failed to reach an agreement and left camp all against the back drop of a running back zoom call from this past weekend where players at the position met to try and discuss the future of their position and get paid better.
